Amrumbank project

Amrumbank West is a 288MW offshore wind farm being developed in the North Sea, Germany. The €1bn ($1.3bn) project produces 720GWh of clean energy per annum, which is enough to power about 400,000 households.

Construction of the wind farm started in 2013, with completion and commissioning in 2015. The project cuts 740,000t of carbon emissions annually.
